• The Carl's Place DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit with Impact Screen includes the following components:

  • Impact Screen: Choose from Standard, Preferred, or Premium materials to suit your image quality and durability preferences.

  • Black Nylon Enclosure: Surrounds the simulator area, enhancing image contrast and capturing stray shots.

  • Steel Frame Connector Fittings: Corner fittings necessary to assemble the frame structure.

  • Ball Bungees and Zip Ties: Fasteners provided to securely attach the impact screen and enclosure fabric to the frame.

  Please note that the kit does not include the 1-inch EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing) pipes required for the frame; these must be purchased separately from a local hardware store. Alternatively, Carl's Place offers an optional Pipe Framing Kit with pre-cut and labeled pipes for convenience.

  Additionally, components such as the launch monitor, simulation software, projector, hitting mat, and other accessories are not included in the base kit but can be purchased separately to complete your golf simulator setup.

The Carl's Place DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit with Impact Screen provides the essential components to set up your indoor golf simulator. However, to complete your setup, you'll need to acquire the following items separately:

1. EMT Pipe Frame:

• The kit includes detailed instructions and a cut guide for sourcing 1-inch EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing) conduit, which is readily available at local hardware stores. Alternatively, Carl's Place offers an optional Pipe Framing Kit that includes all necessary pre-cut and labeled pipes for convenient assembly.

2. Golf Simulator Electronics:

• Launch Monitor or Tracking System: Devices such as SkyTrak, Foresight, TrackMan, or Garmin R10 are not included and must be purchased separately to capture and analyze your swing data

• Simulation Software: Programs like E6 Connect, TGC 2019, GSPro, or other compatible software are necessary for a complete simulation experience and are sold separately.

• Projector and Mount: A projector and mounting hardware are essential for displaying the virtual course on the impact screen and are not included in the base kit.

• Computer or Device: A compatible PC, tablet, or mobile device is required to run the simulation software and interface with the launch monitor.

3. Flooring and Hitting Surface:

• Landing Turf and Hitting Mat: To create a realistic fairway feel and protect your flooring, you'll need to purchase turf flooring and a hitting mat separately. Carl's Place offers options like Carl’s Golf Simulator Turf by Big Moss, which extends 12 feet from the screen and doubles as a putting green. 

4. Optional Accessories:

• Foam Insert Kit: For added safety, foam inserts can be placed behind the screen flaps to protect the frame from errant shots.

• Safety Baffles: Vinyl baffles can be installed to catch high-angle shots and reduce bounce-back.

• Net Wall Extensions: If concerned about stray shots, net extensions provide additional protection and can be easily attached to the enclosure.

• Back Cover Kit and Back Cover Pipe Kit: To eliminate ambient light and enhance image quality, a back cover can be added; pipes for this cover are sold separately.

• Paid shipping options are available if you want your item to arrive faster, if you need delivery outside of the contiguous United States, or if your items do not qualify for free, no-rush shipping, ie. freight deliveries.
• Lead times may vary throughout the season. Handmade items like golf enclosures and custom screens may require extra production time. The expected arrival date of your selected items and shipping cost, if any, will populate during checkout.
• The delivery date is our good faith estimate based on current lead times and the information we receive from the carriers. Carriers, however, may experience delays that are out of our control. Please use your tracking number to track the status of your package.
• Some high-dollar items may need a signature at delivery to ensure they reach you safely.
